Wednesday 11th – 7.30pm MenzShed, 22b Rangihiroa Street, Waikanae Beach. The speaker will be Julian Chapman from Hato Hone St John on first aid in the workshop. Dennis will tell us what he’s been up to (WIBUT). The wood storage container will be open from 7pm.
13th – 15th Weekend – Hunua, Auckland. South Auckland Woodturners Guild Participation event.

The membership subscription is currently $60.00 per annum. This is discounted by $10.00 for members of the New Zealand Association of Woodworkers.

We have a growing collection of woodwork related books, magazines etc available for members to borrow. The library is open at our monthly meetings.

Many of our Guild members are also members of the National Association of Woodworkers.
The benefits are many, including the quarterly magazine ‘Creative Wood’, discounts at retail outlets, online demonstrations and reduced fees to NAW events.
The Zoom Club meeting is held monthly on a Monday evening at 7pm. It is open to non-members as well.

The container will be open 30 minutes prior to our monthly meeting. There is plenty of dry wood at reasonable prices.
Wig Stands & Gift Bowls
Wood for making these is available free of charge from the Guild container. Members are asked to please make one wig stand and one bowl per month.

For the Guild to run well and provide a range of interesting and relevant presentations, teaching and activities; all of our members need to be involved. You can help by:
- Suggesting a topic for a Saturday workshop.
- Sharing your skills in a talk or demonstration.
- Sharing your WIBUT story.
- Preparing and presenting a talk on a tree.
- Participating in a working bee
Let a committee member know how you’d like to get involved. Dates of upcoming events are announced at our meetings, in the Kapiti Lancewood and on this page.
